4Recruitment Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in a Children with Disabilities Team, Children's Safeguarding and Family Support Services.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, supporting, and coordinating care for children with complex needs within a team and home environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake assessments, support planning, and care coordination for children with complex needs.
- Provide advice and support to service users, their families, and partner agencies on a daily basis.
- Promote close and constructive relationships with service users, carers, and partner agencies.
- Identify and highlight resource issues to the Team Leader and Senior Practitioner.
- Be professionally creative when undertaking assessments, support planning, and care coordination for children with complex needs.
- Use risk creatively to maximize the independence of service users and their families.
- Produce complex reports in relation to service users and carers.
- Be responsible for professional decision-making in relation to assessments, support planning, and care coordination of children with complex needs.
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a related field.
- Appropriate Qualification in Occupational therapy.
- Registered with the Health Professionals Council as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience of working in a relevant care setting.
- Person-centred thinking and planning.
- Assessment, support planning, and care coordination.
- Adult and Children's Safeguarding.
