Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Care Managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to adults, focusing on prevention and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans to prevent the escalation of needs and maintain independence.
  • Implement interventions to support adults in addressing problems and achieving their goals.
  • Recommend and provide equipment and housing adaptations to support adults in their daily lives.
  • Work collaboratively with adults, families, and partner agencies to deliver effective services.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices.
  • Experience in adult and older people's occupational therapy, including assessment, prevention, and intervention.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act.
