About Your Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and implement advanced machine learning models for predictive analytics.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate model performance and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data from various sources and ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Communicate complex data insights effectively to stakeholders through engaging data visualisations and dashboards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data science trends and techniques, applying them to enhance our data science capabilities and deliver innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong track record of delivering data-driven insights and analytical models.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R and experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries.
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn).
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (Plotly, Seaborn).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business challenges into data science solutions.
  • Experience with Azure cloud platforms (Azure ML).
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop).
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in data science and analytics.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Salary Details:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between £60,000 and £90,000 depending on experience, plus an annual bonus scheme, 25 days holiday, contributory pension scheme, life cover, group income protection, flexible buy/sell holiday options, flexible working arrangements, and retail discounts.
