About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to join our Business Services and Outsourcing team at BDO UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality financial reporting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including statutory accounts and management accounts, to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored advice and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver a range of services, including accounting, payroll, and compliance services.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and standards, applying this knowledge to ensure our clients receive the best possible advice.
  • Contribute to the development of our team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive excellence in our services.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with significant experience in financial reporting and accounting services.
  • Excellent working knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality financial reporting services, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience in the use of Caseware and/or other relevant accounts production software.
