Financial Reporting and Accounting Assistant Manager

At Grant Thornton, we're looking for a skilled Financial Reporting and Accounting Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our National Assurance Services (NAS) team, you'll play a crucial role in providing innovative, practical, and robust solutions to auditing and financial reporting matters.

A Look into the Role

This team primarily assists the audit practice with accounting and corporate reporting related consultations, compliance reviews of annual reports and accounts (ARAs) prior to signing audit reports. As an assistant manager, you'll be responsible for first review of technical accounting queries, hot reviews, and facilitating the Audit Helpdesk (reactive work).

Requirements

We're looking for someone with a professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA) and a strong understanding of accounting frameworks (UK adopted IFRS and UK GAAP), statutory and other regulatory requirements. You'll need to be able to adapt your style to best interact with engagement teams from different backgrounds and levels of experience.
