About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Central Government Account Director to join our team at Dovetail & Slate Limited. As a seasoned IT sales professional, you will be responsible for selling IT services to central government clients, with a focus on new business development and account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell IT services to central government clients, with a focus on new business development and account management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and other central government clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the central government sector.
  • Manage and expand existing accounts with central government clients.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
Requirements
  • Strong track record in selling IT services to central government clients.
  • Experience working with the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and other central government clients.
  • Proven ability to drive new business and consistently achieve or surpass sales targets.
  • Experience in managing and expanding key government accounts.
  • Strong understanding of IT, digital, and data requirements and drivers in the central government sector.
  • Experience with Microsoft, Cisco, and AWS.
  • Experience working across Public Sector frameworks, locally and nationally.
  • Strong planning, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-focused with professional services orientation.
Compensation
  • Base Salary: Up to £85,000
  • Car Allowance: £8,500
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): £170,000
