About the Role:

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Operations Lead to join our team at BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising detailed maintenance, inspection activities on aircraft or aircraft components.

The post holder will be an experienced and skilled Senior Supervisor who can demonstrate a flexible and proactive attitude to carrying out responsibilities appropriate to the role. They will also ensure that staff are sufficiently competent and authorized for the maintenance tasks allocated to them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Supervise detailed maintenance, inspection activities on aircraft or aircraft components.
  • Manage and Supervise a team to ensure that maintenance is undertaken to schedule and highlight any issues.
  • Demonstrate a flexible and proactive attitude to carrying out responsibilities appropriate to the role.
  • Ensure staff are sufficiently competent and authorized for the maintenance tasks allocated to them.
  • Maintain own & teams' task authorisations for working on an aircraft or components in accordance with AMC requirements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Typically, 2+ years' experience including type, classed as fully competent with all required Authorisations in place.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
