Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Jenrick Engineering. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our fabricated and welded parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting fabricated and welded parts to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Assembling dossier packs for our manufacturing business
  • Working closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure quality standards are met
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • PPAP, FAIR's, and reporting methods
  • Experience in quality-related qualifications and quality inspection within a fabrication and welding manufacturing business
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and understand weld symbols, welding documentation, and processes
  • Great attention to detail and high level of competency with Microsoft Office and software systems
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills and strong communication skills

Requirements:

  • Quality-related qualification
  • Experience as a Quality Inspector within a fabrication and welding manufacturing business
  • Experience in FAIR's, PPAP's, and reporting methods
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Ability to understand weld symbols, welding documentation, and processes
  • Great attention to detail
  • High level of competency with Microsoft Office and software systems
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Strong communicator

What We Offer:

  • Hourly rate of £30-35 per hour
  • Outside IR35
