Senior Procurement Compliance Manager

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Compliance Manager to join our Central Procurement division.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our procurement processes by managing and refining procurement directives, staying abreast of legal requirements, and guaranteeing compliance with both internal and external regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive procurement directives and handbooks to guide best practices across the organization.
  • Conduct thorough monitoring of legal frameworks and industry standards relevant to procurement activities.
  • Take ownership of specific compliance areas, including sustainability initiatives and adherence to UK Modern Slavery legislation.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions on guideline implementation and compliance protocols to internal stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in strategic projects aimed at enhancing procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, procurement, or a related field is essential.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and refining guidelines and policies within a procurement environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant compliance topics, including sustainability and UK Modern Slavery regulations.
  • A strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Exceptional methodological skills and a results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German or other languages is highly advantageous.
