RWE Senior Procurement Project Manager Opportunity

We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Procurement Project Manager at RWE. This position will focus on overseeing procurement functions for projects in innovative sectors such as hydrogen, carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), and energy storage solutions, all aimed at advancing our commitment to a sustainable future by 2030. The ideal candidate will engage in groundbreaking global initiatives and contribute significantly to the energy transition.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Enhance supply chain strategies throughout the project lifecycle, including development, construction, and operational phases.
  • Formulate sourcing, negotiation, and contract management approaches.
  • Facilitate negotiations with external vendors and internal teams.
  • Address claims and discrepancies during project implementation.
  • Ensure that all commercial project matters are resolved in alignment with corporate policies.

Qualifications

  • Preferred MCIPS certification.
  • Proven experience in construction or complex procurement initiatives.
  • Exceptional negotiation capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in multicultural environments.
  • Proficiency in international business practices.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
