Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at UKCIL Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with a 13-year-old boy with mild learning difficulties and ADHD, providing one-to-one support and enabling him to reach his full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to the young person, promoting his independence and self-confidence.
  • Accompany the young person on various outings, such as trampoline parks, bowling, and cinema trips.
  • Engage in activities that promote social skills, such as playing board games or building with Lego.
  • Assist with daily tasks and routines, ensuring the young person's needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with neurodiverse children or young people.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the young person and his family.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including after school, weekends, and school holidays.
  • Valid driving license and access to a car.
