Senior Financial Analyst

Hutcheon Mearns Limited, a leading industrial services group based in Aberdeen City Centre, is seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for Newly Qualified Accountants with practice experience to develop their skills and progress their careers.
Job Description- Monthly consolidations for all trading platforms and overall group consolidated results will be overseen by the successful candidate.
- The Group Accountant will be involved in all aspects of deal flow, including liaison with external advisers on buyside and sellside transactions, strategic inputs around implications of acquisition on group results, and group banking arrangements.
- Assistance with cashflow forecasting and cashflow reporting will also be provided.
- The Group Accountant will assist with group audits at both the group and subsidiary levels.
- A qualified Accountant (ACCA or ICAS) with practice experience is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in statutory accounts are required.
- Deals or transaction support experience is desirable but not necessary.
- The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication of financial information to various stakeholders is a must.
