About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in water engineering, systems, and processes to join our mechanical team in the Energy, Water and Resources portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the mechanical design of water and wastewater treatment from concept through to detailed design
  • Develop solutions for utilities and infrastructure assets, industrial processes, and manufacturing systems
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects that may include water & wastewater treatment and supply for UK water sector AMP7 and AMP8 Frameworks, flood alleviation projects on the Environment Agency Capital Delivery Framework, and industrial water and process systems and industrial decarbonisation
Requirements
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment selection and application in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Ability to lead and manage projects with a focus on water engineering
  • Skills in relevant design tools and software, including BIM, Plant 3D, Revit, or other specialist packages
  • Good knowledge of mechanical design standards and safety systems
