About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our mechanical engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our cities and environments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

Your Qualifications

  • Chartered Mechanical Engineer.
  • Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Sound knowledge in mechanical equipment, such as pumps, blowers, screens and chemical dosing plant as well as an in-depth understanding of current UK design standards and working practices.
  • Strong understanding of legislation such as CDM and ATEX.
