Information Security Architect

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Architect to join our team at Simmons & Simmons LLP. As a key member of our security architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security controls to protect our systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Analysis and Risk Management: Conduct thorough analysis of real-world problems and provide accurate and effective communication of security and risk implications to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Enabling and Informing Risk-Based Decisions: Work with risk owners to advise and provide feedback on pragmatic risk mitigation options, considering business requirements, user experience, and resource and investment overheads.
- Understanding Security Implications of Transformation: Interpret and apply understanding of policy and process, business architecture, and legal and political implications to assist in the development of technical solutions or controls.
- Knowledge of a range of enterprise IT application technologies, including a demonstrated track record in securing infrastructure applications such as the Microsoft Application Stack.
- Knowledge of data centre technologies, such as virtualisation (VMWare) and experience of working with third-party IaaS/private cloud providers.
- 5-10 years' experience in information security, architecture, and IT risk management.
- Comfortable with occasional working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Information security certifications may be advantageous.
- An understanding of the ITIL framework is desirable.
