Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of safe, compassionate, and high-quality care across the PCN. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced clinical practice, quality improvement initiatives, and service development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Nursing Leadership:
    Provide guidance on nursing practice and healthcare assistant interventions, fostering collaboration between clinical and non-clinical staff to maintain the highest standards of care.
  2. Advanced Clinical Practice:
    Utilize advanced clinical knowledge (Level 7 expertise) to assess, plan, and deliver personalized care for patients with complex health needs.
  3. Quality Improvement & Service Development:
    Play a key role in driving Quality Improvement initiatives, enhancing service delivery, patient access, and care quality.
  4. Patient Experience & Advocacy:
    Ensure that patients consistently receive the highest standard of care, promoting a positive patient experience that would encourage them to recommend the service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with advanced clinical experience and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Expertise in managing complex patient care needs and delivering advanced clinical practice.
  • Experience in quality improvement initiatives and service development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for enhancing patient experience.
