Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and providing advice and guidance to the wider AWE team on trade and export controls. This includes preparing end-use statements in support of international procurement activities, raising UK export licence applications using SPIRE and LITE (where required), and associated record-keeping activities in SharePoint to underpin export compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage trade and export control requests such as End-Use Statements and overseas export controls documentation;
  • Be actively involved in understanding, mitigating, and managing customer contract risks and opportunities;

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have relevant business qualifications or equivalent experience and commercial acumen, specifically in sub-contract and contract management. They will also possess well-developed skills in the use of a variety of computerized business software to support business needs.
