Role Overview:
As a Head Waiter/Waitress, you will be integral to the flawless execution of service within your designated section during our evening dining hours. Collaborating closely with our restaurant and bar personnel, your mission is to provide outstanding service. The atmosphere at Sumosan Twiga is vibrant during the evenings, and you will be expected to work late into the night as part of our distinguished front-of-house team.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing a specific section of the dining area, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Motivating and guiding your team of commis and runners to uphold exceptional service standards.
- Acting as the main point of contact for guest inquiries, addressing them swiftly and professionally.
- Encouraging and promoting our food and beverage selections while managing orders and bill settlements in your area.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of your section to meet company expectations, fostering a welcoming environment.
- Communicating any operational issues to the Restaurant Manager for prompt resolution.
- Thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic setting where quality and guest satisfaction are paramount.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant or a comparable setting is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Capability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
- Legal authorization to work in the UK.
