Ngai Tahu Ambassador

Are you passionate about conservation and committed to representing the interests of Ngai Tahu? Do you have a strong understanding of conservation principles and a desire to make a difference?

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Regional Conservation Boards as a representative. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the development of conservation management strategies and plans for national parks within your jurisdiction.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of promoting Ngai Tahu values and conservation principles. They will be an effective communicator, able to articulate their vision and goals to stakeholders.

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Reasonable expenses for travel, accommodation, and meals will be reimbursed by Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu.

Job Requirements:

1. A strong understanding of Ngai Tahu values and conservation principles.
2. Ability to articulate and promote these values effectively.
3. Knowledge of the Deed of Settlement and its undertakings.
