We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a Special Needs High School for Complex Needs in Leicestershire.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (could turn permanent)

Location: Leicestershire

About the Opportunity:

The successful candidate will be supporting secondary aged pupils with Special Needs, including Autism, ADHD or Social, Emotional difficulties (SEMH), in small groups or 1:1. Class sizes of no more than 10 students with at least two support staff in each. The role involves collaborating with the SEN team, senior leaders, heads of departments, parents and carers, social workers, and other professionals in the child's multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Able to work in the UK legally
  • DBS on the Update Service (or prepared to get a new one)
  • Overseas Police Checks (if applicable)
  • Previous school-based experience
