Your Role

As a Delivery Driver - Automotive Parts, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verifying invoices to ensure accuracy and assisting with picking parts for orders.

  • Examine the condition of merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examining the condition with the customer and obtaining a signature upon delivery.

  • Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns, and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency.

  • Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensuring proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies.

  • Comply with electronic delivery principles and standards.

  • Report any customer complaints or dissatisfaction to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager immediately.

  • Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, tire condition, and ensure cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle.

  • Comply with all road rules and regulations at all times.

  • Check-in with the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on delivery progress and delays.

  • Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory.

  • Assist with customer service activities within the store location and maintain a neat and orderly store environment, including stocking shelves.

Essential Qualifications

  • No experience required.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Possesses high interpersonal skills to develop and maintain working relationships.

  • Able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
