Job Summary

The Scottish Wildlife Trust is seeking a Conservation Area Coordinator to manage our conservation efforts in Aberdeenshire. This role involves coordinating work programs for a team of volunteers, maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the effective management of our wildlife habitats.

A current driving license is essential for travel to nearby reserves, and the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team is required. The salary for this position is £22,000 pro rata per annum.

Key Responsibilities

  3. Ensure the effective management of wildlife habitats

Requirements
  • High emotional maturity, resilience, and flexibility
  • Excellent people skills
  • Certification in brushcutter use (chainsaw and herbicide spraying advantageous)
