At Disability Equality (NW) Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the mental health care sector and be comfortable with dogs.

About the Role

This part-time position is for 3 hours per week, initially, with the potential for additional hours by mutual agreement. As a Support Worker, you will assist a lady regain her independence within her own home and the local community.

Responsibilities
  • Time management support
  • Organising day-to-day activities including household paperwork
  • Appointment setting and attendance
  • Grocery shopping assistance
  • Supporting access to social and leisure activities

We require a driver with a full clean license and the ability to drive a mobility car. A previous background in mental health care would be an advantage.
