  • We are seeking a skilled English to French Canadian Translator to join our team
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified translator to work with a variety of texts, including user interfaces, web content, and more.
  • As a French Canadian translation specialist, you will be responsible for translating a wide range of materials, from product descriptions to corporate communication.
  • Our ideal candidate will have excellent grammar and writing skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and maintain high quality standards.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in translation, with a minimum of three years' experience and a translation qualification.
  • We are looking for a team player who is able to work autonomously and is passionate about translation.
About the Role

As a translation expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Translating a variety of text types and subject matters.
  • Conducting terminology research and creating and maintaining translation memories and Termbases.
  • Reviewing and post-editing machine-produced translations.
  • Working with translation technologies, such as CAT tools.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in French Canadian, with excellent grammar and writing skills.
  • A translation qualification and a minimum of three years' experience.
  • The ability to work under pressure and maintain high quality standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • A passion for translation and a willingness to learn new things.
