Job Title: Cloud Security Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Consultant to join our team at La Fosse. As a Cloud Security Consultant, you will play a critical role in planning, implementing, and optimizing security controls in the cloud, particularly within multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security configurations and policies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with industry standards, including the Cloud Security Alliance, Cloud Controls Matrix, and NIST guidelines.
  • Implement and enforce standards and policies to safeguard workloads and the cloud infrastructure, applying a deep understanding of IAM, RBAC, SIEM, firewalls, and CNAPP.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical assessments of existing cloud security capabilities and solutions to identify vulnerabilities and risks, developing actionable recommendations and strategies for securing cloud solutions.
  • Implement security measures for cloud-native applications, including container security and serverless architectures, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate the deployment of security controls, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Deep technical security background with in-depth knowledge of cross-cloud security principles and standard processes.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and optimize cloud security controls.
  • Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, SIEM, firewalls, and CNAPP.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive technical assessments and develop actionable recommendations.

  • A competitive day rate of £750-£800pd.
  • An IR35 status of Inside.
  • A duration of 6 months initially.
  • Travel to the Hertfordshire office 2 days a week.
