About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our team at BDO. As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for leading the pursuit and bid process from end-to-end, ensuring that our proposals meet the requirements of our clients and showcase our expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify opportunities and operate the global 'Go/No-go process' in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Own and lead the pursuit or bid process from end-to-end, designing and building the project plan to ensure the correct process and approach is taken
  • Ensure the correct skill sets are leveraged to deliver maximum value and efficiency into the bid process
  • Advise partners and other senior stakeholders on pursuit or bid process based on agreed firmwide best practice
  • Drive delivery against the agreed project plan, ensuring RFP requirements are met
Requirements
  • Proven experience of working in a bids and pursuits team, ideally from a professional services business
  • A strong motivation to 'win' and a good understanding of the end-to-end bid process
  • People management skills and experience, with the ability to converse comfortably with senior stakeholders
  • Confidence to ask insightful questions to both understand and challenge thinking
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to apply relevant skills to new scenarios
