As a Carer with Visiting Angels, you will be visiting our clients in their own homes, supporting them with everyday tasks, so they can continue to live independently whilst enriching their lives in the comfort of their own homes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care, helping clients get up in the morning or prepare for bed in the evening, including a shower or bath.
  • Assisting clients with dressing/undressing.
  • Preparing meals and snacks.
  • Helping with laundry or light housework.
  • Supporting clients to access the community.
  • Prompting & administering medication.
  • Offering companionship.

What You'll Need:

  • A caring attitude and a willingness to make a difference.
  • A full UK Driving License and use of a car.
  • Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Proof of right-to-work in the United Kingdom.
  • Reliability, flexibility, hard work, and honesty.
  • Good communication skills and a good sense of humour.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • To ensure the safety of staff and the vulnerable people we support, all staff will be required to comply with company, Public Health England, and government recommendations including weekly testing.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £12 per hour, paid travel time, and PAID mileage. You will also receive paid holiday and birthday day off, as well as specialised training and opportunities for promotion within the organisation.
