We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our finance team at Penguin Random House.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with relevant experience to provide financial services to our customers in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Format, collate and maintain a balance sheet reconciliation summary.
  • Create a strong control environment in the process around month end reconciliations.
  • Challenge and investigate differences to improve quality information maintained.
  • Ensure correct application of Group Accounting Policies.
  • Assisting with the monitoring and assessment of internal controls.
  • A mixture of independent analysis, as well as collaborative working within the team and presentation to key stakeholders.
  • Adhoc projects including analysis of technical accounting for specific customer topics and assistance with the external audit process.
Requirements

We are looking for a qualified (ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA) accountant with relevant experience.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. This competitive salary reflects the importance of this role in ensuring the financial integrity and stability of our business.
