Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Therapeutic Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological input to teams within the designated region.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement therapeutic plans to support the needs of children and young people, based on a multi-factorial psychological understanding and current evidence-based best practice.
- Provide training in therapeutic approaches and associated applied psychology subjects, and share skills and learning with internal and external professionals.
- Consult with and advise colleagues from other professions on psychological assessment, management, and treatment/intervention methods.
- Participate in meetings concerned with the delivery and development of clinical services, contributing a psychological perspective as appropriate.
- Contribute to the planning and development of operational policies and service delivery through undertaking agreed project work.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Clinical, Forensic, Counselling, or Educational Psychology or equivalent.
- Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Knowledge of the impact of developmental trauma and adverse childhood experiences on life trajectories.
- Other clinical training such as CBT, Systemic Psychotherapy, DBT, DDP, or EMDR (desirable).
