Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Red Carnation Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of top-quality menu items in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the culinary team in the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with the senior chef de partie and head chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior culinary professional in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on creativity, presentation, and flavor.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
