We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Outpatient Department at Malvern Community Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care to individuals attending our Outpatient Department, working closely with Consultants, Specialist Nurses, and Community Services Teams.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, adhering to the philosophy of patient-centered care and Trust standards.
- Practice as a member of the Community Hospital Nursing team, supporting and working in partnership with the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Plan and deliver individual nursing care under the direction of senior staff, working within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
- Document care given and maintain contemporaneous records, adhering to Trust policies and NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
- Assist in the implementation of health promotion strategies, as agreed by the Outpatient Manager.
- Collaborate with other team members to organize the reception and discharge of patients, ensuring effective communication in the transfer of information.
- Carry out delegated nursing care, using and participating in research/audit in care delivery.
- Adhere to and promote all clinical practice, health and safety, and corporate Trust Policies and Guidelines.
- Essential: Experience gained during pre-registration training, RGN/RMN qualification, NMC Registered.
- Desirable: Post-registration experience in an inpatient setting, previous experience of day-to-day management, accredited courses in palliative care, Practice Supervisor and/or Practice Assessor Training, Advanced communication qualification.
