Prototype Evaluation Technician

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Test and Development Engineer to join our team at Jobs in Science. Based in Kent, this role offers a competitive salary of £43,000, dependent on experience.
Job Requirements:You will be responsible for managing laboratory equipment, performing Design Verification Testing, and supporting design and development activities. Your key duties will include:
- Conducting tests to meet relevant internal and external standards.
- Supporting warranty and audit testing as required.
- Assisting with DVT test template creation and maintenance.
- Machining prototypes in-house.
To succeed in this role, you should have a relevant Engineering qualification to HND level or above and proven experience in product testing and rig maintenance. Practical knowledge of workshop equipment and IT skills, including Excel and Word, are also essential.
