About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Engineer to join our team at Ganymede Solutions. As a Diesel Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out fault diagnostics on modern diesel engines and ensuring performance and availability for the diesel engines in the rolling stock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out fault diagnostics on modern diesel engines
  • Ensure performance and availability for the diesel engines in the rolling stock
  • Undertake remote diagnostic work to obtain, evaluate and interpret data to identify likely faults
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients

Requirements

  • Qualified to NVQ2 as a minimum
  • Experience in both the mechanical and electrical maintenance of diesel engines and / or propulsion systems and associated electrical control technology, ECU's (Electronic control unit)
  • Demonstrable experience of fault diagnostics and remote diagnostics and conditioning
  • Ability to work in a highly safety critical environment
  • Ability to undertake pre-employment checks including medicals, drug and alcohol screens
