Salary: £35,000 per annum + Overtime available

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, 40 hours a week

Holidays: 25 Days holiday + BH

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Service Technician to join our team at Ganymede. As a Diesel Service Technician, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of diesel engines and/or propulsion systems, as well as associated electrical control technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and propulsion systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults using remote diagnostic tools
  • Conduct condition monitoring and fault resolution activities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients
  • Work in a highly safety-critical environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Qualified to NVQ2 as a minimum
  • Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance of diesel engines and/or propulsion systems
  • Experience with remote diagnostic tools and condition monitoring
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
