About the Role

The Senior Supply Chain Lead is a key position within the Nigel Wright Group, responsible for ensuring efficient working methods and procedures within the planning team. This role plays a critical part in driving business success by optimizing production capacity, monitoring product availability, and collaborating with other departments to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and improve team performance to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and implement process adjustments to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Manage key issues and develop solutions to mitigate risks and improve outcomes.
  • Prepare and present KPI reports to stakeholders to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Optimize production capacity to meet customer demands and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitor product availability to ensure timely delivery and minimize stockouts.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to drive business innovation and improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience in planning, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Previous experience in managing people, with a proven track record of success.
  • Business degree or equivalent qualification, such as CIPS or part-qualified.
  • SAP experience or experience in capacity planning on ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • This role will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will have some direct reports.
  • This individual will be required to work closely with production and other functions to ensure KPIs are met.
