Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences is committed to providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health issues. As a Child and Youth Counsellor, you will play a vital role in helping adolescents develop the skills they need to succeed in their community.

About the Position
  • You will be responsible for working with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for adolescents with mental health issues.
  • As a counsellor, you will provide education and support to help adolescents develop coping skills and strategies for managing mental health.
  • You will also work closely with families and community agencies to ensure that adolescents receive comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and youth in a mental health setting is required.
  • A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR-HCP is mandatory.
Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
