Job Summary:

Venn Group is seeking an experienced Inquest Lawyer to join our thriving team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing inquests and representing Health Boards and Trusts at inquest hearings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload of Inquest matters and conduct your own advocacy
  • Liaise with clients, contact, and interview clinical staff and other healthcare professionals to obtain evidence
  • Draft witness statements for use in the Coroners Court and advise witnesses/staff on their legal position
  • Coordinate and deliver high-quality training and updates to clients

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills and a confident approach to work
  • Experience in Inquest, Mental Health, and Clinical Negligence law
