Job Title: Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function, including preparing the annual budget, monthly management accounts, and statutory reports.

The Role:
  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including tax compliance and VAT returns.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to non-finance colleagues.
The Candidate:
  • Must have a strong background in accounting and finance, ideally with a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Have experience of working in the Arts or Charity sectors, or a similar environment.
  • Be a strong communicator and team player, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have a good understanding of IT systems, including Sage.
