About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Group Protection Pricing Actuary to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our Group Protection Pricing team, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial performance of our Group Protection business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake and manage actuarial analysis to advise and support business decisions, ensuring they meet all risk and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver the Group Protection strategy through costing, pricing, and underwriting philosophy.
  • Support system development and operational teams, and contribute to the development of costing and risk management.
Requirements
  • Newly qualified or nearly qualified actuary.
  • Proven technical and commercial ability within Group Protection, with a focus on Pricing experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and modelling skills.
  • Proactive, taking ownership and accountability for work.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and through report writing and presenting.
What We Offer
  • Starting salary between £45,000 and £60,000 (dependent on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
  • Bonus opportunity – 10% of annual salary (dependent on performance and Aviva's results).
