Nighttime Companion and Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Nighttime Companion and Support Worker to join our team at UKCIL Ltd.
The estimated salary for this role is £29,300 per annum, based on a 37.5 hour working week at £15.00 per hour.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will provide overnight support to a young boy with complex needs, including personal care assistance, medication administration, and monitoring his condition.
You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care assistance to the child, including bathing, dressing, and grooming;
- Administering medication and performing medical procedures as prescribed;
- Monitoring the child's condition and reporting any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals;
- Supporting the child during waking nights (typically 2-3 nights per week).
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior experience working in a similar environment, although full training will be provided;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the family and healthcare team;
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting individuals with complex needs;
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
