We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practitioner in Pharmacy to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As an advanced practitioner, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in the delivery of clinical pharmacy services.

The post will provide the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary teams, providing clinical pharmacy services and contributing to the development of our hepatology transplant clinics. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Job Responsibilities

As an Advanced Practitioner in Pharmacy, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services in hepatology, working closely with medical and nursing teams to ensure seamless patient care. You will also be expected to mentor junior members of the team and contribute to the provision of homecare medications and HCV MDT services.

Person SpecificationQualifications
  • Clinical Diploma or equivalent qualification
Experience
  • Experience of clinical pharmacy service delivery
  • Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Wide previous experience (post-registration) including in hospital pharmacy
  • Experience of working with surgical specialties
  • Experience of working within hepatology
Communication
  • Strong, accurate, and concise written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Effective independent and team working skills, including the ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams.
Organisation
  • Excellent organisational skills
Analytical and Judgement Skills
  • Able to assess and minimise risk in medication processes

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

We offer a competitive salary range of £53,755 to £60,504 per year (pro rata), depending on experience.
