The Role

This position is a vital part of guiding the creation, development, and execution of asset care strategies within Imperial Brands Factories on a global scale. As part of the broader Imperial Operating System, the goal is to enhance asset performance, reliability, and longevity through innovative maintenance practices and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and deploy a Global Asset Care Strategy across Imperial Brands Factories, focusing on optimizing Profit and Loss benefits, as well as machinery availability and reliability.
  2. Establish functional policies and conditions to enhance organizational effectiveness concerning machinery availability through a globally standardized approach to maintenance, spare parts, and sustainability management.
  3. Collaborate with regional teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation and execution of asset care strategies worldwide.
  4. Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of asset care initiatives and monitor performance against targets.
  5. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the asset care team, encouraging innovation, knowledge sharing, and process optimization.
  6. Proactively anticipate and mitigate risks related to asset reliability and performance through effective maintenance planning and risk assessment.
  7. Develop comprehensive training programs and resources to enhance the skills and capabilities of asset care personnel globally.

Requirements

  • Experience in Manufacturing, with a general understanding of technical topics.
  • Extensive experience in Lean, preferably combined with change management experience in large, decentralized, international organizations.
  • Proficiency in culture change and organizational development, with the ability to utilize various influencing techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, with proficiency in business English.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to inspire colleagues in Lean Thinking.
