We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team at Shakespeare Road Medical Practice. As a Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of nursing care for patients, as well as providing nursing assistance to doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team.
Key Duties- Deliver evidence-based practice for patients presenting with long term conditions
- Provide preventative healthcare to the practice population
- Work collaboratively within the general practice team and wider community teams to meet the needs of patients
- Support the delivery of policy and procedures
- Provide leadership where required
We are looking for a qualified RGN with excellent clinical, organisational and communication skills. You should have the ability to work autonomously and have a qualification in chronic disease management, childhood immunisations, travel vaccinations, wound care and cytology.
This is a full-time position based on 37.5 hours per week. The salary is £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, depending on experience.
