As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the project commercial aspects, overseeing a Commercial Assistant, preparing monthly CVR's / VCR's, submitting client applications, and handling commercial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance Project Performance: Promote and support project team performance by ensuring key contractual obligations and strategies are effectively executed and reviewed regularly.
  • Cost Management: Prepare and submit monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) and progress reports, ensuring efficient cost control and maximizing project value.
  • Tender Strategies: Understand and apply both internal and external tender strategies, working towards achieving the planned profit targets.
  • Valuations & Cash Flow: Coordinate with stakeholders to agree on external valuations and manage cash flow to enhance project value.
  • Final Accounts: Work alongside the Commercial Manager to finalize main and subcontract accounts.
  • Subcontract Management: Ensure all subcontract management processes are completed, focusing on procurement, measurement and valuation, issuing contractual instructions/notices/orders, and maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience: You will ideally have 3+ years of experience at a management level, with a strong background in quantity surveying and commercial management. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
