Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Shop Manager to join our team at South Bucks Hospice at Butterfly House. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in driving sales and supporting our care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day running of our retail shops, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
- Support the retail team in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of retail strategies and initiatives.
- Work closely with the retail team to maintain high standards of shop appearance and merchandising.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Knowledge of retail systems and procedures, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £8,030 per annum (pro-rata'd).
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
- The option to join an employer contributory pension scheme.
