The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with local grassroots clubs and organisations to identify talented young players who can access our academy programmes. This will involve building a network of contacts who have access to talented players within the local area and nationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop partnerships with local clubs and organisations to access talented young players
- Manage a network of contacts who have access to talented players
- Develop and maintain relationships with category 1/2 academies and private organisations/academies
- Contribute to the Academy Management Team (AMT)
- Clear understanding of the local football ecosystem and internal and external scouting and recruitment protocols
Requirements
- FA Level 2 in Talent Identification and working towards Level 3/Level 4
- Ability to communicate effectively across a cross-section of the community
- High level of emotional intelligence
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively
