About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Medical Support Professional to join our team in the Ultrasound Department at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.

As a key member of the department, you will provide administrative support to sonographers, nurses, and medical staff, ensuring the delivery of an efficient and effective service.

The successful candidate will have experience in healthcare and/or working with the public, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be required to work flexibly, covering various shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.

A full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide general patient care, including data input and clerical duties
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment within the department
  • Liaise with ward staff, porters, radiographers, administrative staff, and patients to ensure the smooth running of the department
