About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our Supported living service. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with disabilities, using person-centred approaches to enable them to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Carry out basic daily duties, including medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and paperwork.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to individuals.
  • Support individuals to access community facilities and participate in community groups.
  • Build relationships with individuals to promote independence and improve quality of life.
  • Empower individuals to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests.
Requirements
  • Experience within the care industry, ICSs or equivalent is essential.
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with Mental Health Conditions, Complex Care needs, and Challenging Behaviours is desirable.
  • A Full UK Manual Driving Licence is preferred.
  • The ability to multi-task and manage time effectively is essential.
  • Good communication skills and a positive 'can do' attitude are required.
