About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized support to customers to help them maximize their potential and independence
- Act as a first point of contact for customer queries and concerns
- Support customers in managing their mental health and well-being
- Offer one-to-one support and guidance as needed
- Promote safety and well-being by conducting risk assessments and reviewing customer needs
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers, ensuring their personal choice, privacy, and dignity are respected
- Deliver small group activities to promote recovery and well-being
Requirements
- Experience working with adults who have experienced homelessness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and functional literacy and numeracy
- Ability to react quickly to changing priorities and work to deadlines
- NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
