Contract Administrator Opportunity

A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly organised and motivated Contract Administrator to join their team during this exciting period of expansion.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects ranging in value from £10,000 to over £1.5 million. Working within a team, you will plan, manage, and deliver various construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review job specifications and pricing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinate with design consultants to achieve cost-effective designs and solutions
  • Procure materials and equipment competitively throughout the project lifecycle
  • Source, manage, and oversee subcontractors to ensure timely completion and quality workmanship
  • Monitor and update project schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time
  • Liaise with clients regularly, providing fortnightly progress reports to ensure transparency and open communication
  • Conduct monthly project valuations and invoicing to ensure accurate financial management
  • Manage pricing for any contract variations or additional works to ensure profitability
  • Review project budgets with a focus on maximising profitability and minimising costs
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained on all sites to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your workload effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in computer applications to ensure efficient project management and administration
  • Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team to ensure project success
